About Us

Golden Legacy Wrestling Club has been active in the Hamilton region for the past 2 years, produced national champions, Pan american championship medals, OFSAA gold and several placements. We have introduced the sport of wrestling to both boys and girls ages 7-15. Apart from being one of the original Olympic sports, wrestling allows children and adults alike to develop a sense of body awareness that is not possible in team sports. It helps instill qualities in kids like self-discipline and respect, as well as improving both physical fitness and self esteem. TRAINER

Head Coach Amar Gulacha

Coach Amar has years of international experience coaching in the sport of wrestling. He has helped bring medals from several prestigious tournaments all over the globe from his knowledge with Wrestling. His oldest son, Amaan has been wrestling since the age of 4 and is very committed to the sport as well as sister, Shahreen as well as their cousins. Both her and Amaan were able to win Europe’s largest tournament in 2017 at the Tallin Open with their Father (Amar Gulacha) in their corner. Since then, the club has brought provincial, national and international medals

Coach Razia Gulacha

Razia is a professional assistant coach. She guides athletes and teaches them the correct way to play a sport. She is very supportive, focused, knowledgeable, and a clear communicator.
